FAQ

FAQFrequently Asked Questions

Do you have availability to see me? Right now my practice is very full and I can only see new people as other clients leave. So you may have to be on my waiting list for awhile.

How long do sessions last and how much do they cost? I see individuals and couples for an hour to an hour and a half.  Sessions are $180/hr. Longer sessions are charged on a  pro-rated basis. I also offer a discount if a client buys a 10 session package.

I have a sliding scale available for anyone who needs it. I want to make therapy accessible to you.

Where is your office?

My office is located in the city of Mill Valley. The office is about 5 minutes from 101 and about 15 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge (without traffic). I’ll provide details on how to find it when you book an appointment.

Can I work with you by Zoom?

Absolutely.  Many clients work with me exclusively by Zoom.  I’ve found Zoom sessions can be just as effective as in-person therapy. I offer both in-person and Zoom.

What if I have to cancel?

I request 24-48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me to fit in other clients who need appointments. I reserve the right to charge you for an hour if you miss your session and haven’t given me 24 hours notice.  I make exceptions for emergencies.
